The Club Rotario de Mérida, founded in 1926, is made up of women and men, leaders, academics, professionals, merchants and entrepreneurs. They are focused on service through friendship and fellowship.

The Rotary Club is affiliated with Rotary International which boasts 34,000 clubs and more than 1,220,000 Rotarians in more than 210 countries and geographic regions.
