The Va y Ven Transportation System’s Show Route, launched Saturday, offers the public a comfortable, safe, and free way to attend concerts at the Foro GNP Seguros.

Concertgoer Miguel Pérez praised the Show Route as a convenient, worry-free option for enjoying shows, noting the significant savings compared to taking a taxi.

The Yucatán Transportation Agency reported a smooth launch and positive reception from citizens, emphasizing the route as part of ongoing transportation service improvements.

Miguel Rendón, riding one of the Show Route buses, celebrated the route’s creation and potential benefits for concert attendees. He highlighted his decision to leave his car at Gran Plaza and utilize the Va y Ven service instead.

Rendón also emphasized how the Show Route can reduce traffic congestion and improve mobility, calling it a success and a valuable resource for concertgoers.

Show Route schedule

The new route departs Gran Plaza every eight minutes from 7 to 8:30 p.m., with continuous service until one hour after the concert, maintaining the same eight-minute frequency.

The pickup location is on the north side of Gran Plaza, opposite the former “Pista Roja” Park.

The route includes stops at Galerías and Harbor malls on the way to and from the concert venue, allowing transfers with other Va y Ven routes.

Unlike standard Va y Ven routes, this service will operate exclusively on concert dates at the GNP Seguros Forum.

The Show Route was free for yesterday’s María José concert and will also be free for Venezuelan singer Danny Ocean’s concert on Thursday, July 11. A standard fare will be announced later.

The Yucatán Transportation Agency encourages the public to report incidents, request information, or offer suggestions via line 072 or ChatBus on WhatsApp at 999-165-2474.
