Welcome to Yucatán Magazine’s first-ever reader-driven popularity contest with more than 60 categories. Come back on Monday, April 1, to nominate your favorite businesses for Yucatán Magazine’s inaugural The Best of Yucatán survey. Nominations will be collected at yucatanmagazine.com/vote.
Which restaurant makes the most authentic pasta dish? Which veterinarian is the most skilled with animals? Which cantina or bar calls your name when you want to get out of the house? Which hair salon handles your highlights best? And so on. Starting Monday, you can nominate your choice among over 60 categories.
The results will feature people and businesses in various industries— food, health and wellness, apparel and accessories, home and design, education, spa and beauty, and several best-kept secrets. We will share the top three choices in each category.
The Nomination Round runs for two weeks. The top five with the most nominations in each category will move on to the Voting Round from April 15 to 26. Votes will be compiled, and the top three in each category will be featured in the annual Best of Yucatán issue in early September. While you can vote only once per category, you can vote in as many or as few categories as you want.
Winners will be announced in a special issue which will be promoted and circulated for a full year. Best of Yucatán will be a resource guide to keep around the house.
